COLOMBIA
.. 1100 kHz: BBN Radio, via Bogotá – in Spanish to Colombia, September 9 at 0121-0139. It was the same programming as BBN Radio Chile (1100 kHz), but the signal from the Colombian station arrived with a lag of nearly 2 seconds compared to the signal from Viña del Mar; the Colombian signal was ahead of the Viña del Mar signal. Upon checking the BBN Radio online streams for both stations, the same time lag observed in the radio audio was present. S3.
** In 2020, in a different instance, Denis Zoqbi (in São Paulo) and I (in Ibiuna) had the opportunity to experience this same situation on 1100 kHz; Denis was using a 1.5-meter diameter super-loop antenna, while I was using an RGP3 ferrite loop. Since we were using loop antennas—which are highly directional—the Bogotá signal was slightly weaker than the Viña del Mar signal, yet it was still audible.
