After 97 uninterrupted years of radio broadcasting to a large part of Brazilian territory, this station officially ended its activities on medium waves, and following the national program for migrating medium wave stations to FM, will henceforth operate only on FM 77.1 São Paulo. This opens up an important space for new experimental researches. Immediately, Radio 1000 AM from Asunción, Paraguay, arrived with a good signal, and the presence of two other carriers was also detected. Furthermore, a few moments of audio from a Christian station, also on 1000 kHz, were heard. Based on previous experience, it is presumably BBN Radio, Santiago, Chile. From now on, there will be a focus of attention on these two carriers.
